- Are you using a pre-AGA machine. With 16 bit Chip RAM the bandwidth is
- limited. Using a 16 colour screen uses up so much DMA bandwidth that
- there isn't enough left for the serial port to function at full speed.
- Dropping to 8 colours solces this. Unfortunately, I know of no
- solution for this other than a graphics card if you have a big box
- Amiga.
