  20. Are you using a pre-AGA machine. With 16 bit Chip RAM the bandwidth is
  21. limited. Using a 16 colour screen uses up so much DMA bandwidth that
  22. there isn't enough left for the serial port to function at full speed.
  23. Dropping to 8 colours solces this. Unfortunately, I know of no
  24. solution for this other than a graphics card if you have a big box
  25. Amiga.
